“The Last King Of Scotland” actor’s Soul Has Been Passed Away On Friday Dec 16th!!!!

On Dec 16th that is last week Friday, a character actor and Hollywood dialect coach Robert Easton passed away. His successes include teaching Forest Whitaker to speak like Idi Amin in the 2006 mobie “The Last King of Scotland. He died in Los Angeles and he was 81. I would like to say very sorry for this to his daughter Heather Woodruff Perry. She admitted to the Los Angeles Times that Easton died of natural causes on Monday at his home in the San Fernando Valley.
His movie credits include “Paint Your Wagon,” “Pete’s Dragon,” “Pet Sematary II” and “Primary Colors.” And also as a dialect coach he worked with Arnold Schwarenegger, Charlton Heston, Liam Neeson, Anne Hathaway and Robert Duvall. And it was revealed that when he was younger, he mainly played country bumpkins on TV shows because of his Southern drawl. And then feared being typecast, so he worked on different accents and learned he could mimic regional speech patterns.
He is a character actor whose command of a vast array of foreign and American regional accents led to a flourishing second career as a dialect coach to Hollywood stars. His death was confirmed by his daughter but did not disclose a cause. It was came to know that he helped out Arnold Schwarzenegger turn his Austrian accent into Russian English and Liam Neeson’s Irish brogue into a Kentucky drawl.

He was a wonderful man, a very unique personality and a master at his craft. And his daughter admitted that despite recent health problems, Mr. Easton continued to coach via telephone and tape recorder. And a month ago, he did an entire script on tape for John Travolta. No one can stay in this world, one or the other day we also have to leave this world and really, it’s not our permanent place to stay here. So anyhow again I would like say my deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to Robert Easton’s family and we do all miss him.
