In this blog entry I’m gonna talk about the movie “A Lonely Place To Die”. This movie was directed by Julian Gilbey and produced by Michael Loveday. Screenwriter was Julian Gilbey, Will Gilbey. This movie is starred by Melissa George, Ed Speleers, Kate Magown, Alec Newman, Garry Sweeney, Holly Boyd, Sean Harris, Karel Roden, Eamonn Walker, and Stephen McCole.
This movie has dealt with Stunning locations in the Scottish Highlands add a professional sheen to this intense, rather nasty thriller. It has charged up with both the suspense and emotions. Five friends of amateur mountain climbers, who upon discovering a living girl buried in the ground, find that rescuing her brings down all hell on them.
George and Newman the most adept climbers go for help in a shortcut which is full of dangerous descent. Speleers, Magown and Sweeney take Anna on a safer route. But they were chased by a couple of merciless killers (Harris and McCole) who need Anna to get back from them and collect ransom money from a shady Eastern European, Roden.
Meanwhile things turn very violent and everyone gets increasingly desperate to survive. Finally Director-cowriter left their promise him with connecting his sharp visual skills with character that resonate strongly. When things turns hideously grisly, we remain interested with those characters on screen from the heroic climbers trying to save this young girl’s life to the ruthless villains who are chasing them.
A Lonely Place To Die is a film that starts of being a thriller about mountaineering and ends up being a hosting thriller. There were a couple of good performances and a couple of creative and thrilling sequences with a solid piece of pulp entertainment. This is really a fascinating movie so watch it out....
