Anna Thought Her Relationship with Ex-Partner Would “Last Forever”

Hollywood Actress Anna Louise Friel, who born on 12 July 1976 in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. Anna had a partner David Thewlis (2001-2010) but their split was unfortunate and couldn’t imagine by Anna Friel. Anna was the daughter of Julie, a special needs teacher, and Des Friel, a former teacher of French and owner of a web design company.

Anna rose to fame in the UK as Beth Jordache on the Channel 4 soap Brookside. But now Anna Friel thought her relationship with ex-partner David Thewlis would “last forever”. The 35-year-old beauty, who split up with the ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ actor late last year after 10 “wonderful” years together is now dating ‘Notting Hill’ star Rhys Ifans, but she found her former flame to be a “fantastic influence” on her life.
Anna admitted that she was 23 when she got together with David Thewlis and had a very different way of looking at life. She grew and he was fantastic influence on her and they spent 10 wonderful years together. And then they both just decided that they had become friends as opposed to lovers.

She thought the relationship would last forever but as you get older you realize that certain relationships are for certain times. Despite the pair who have daughter Gracie, six, together – never tying the knot, the ‘Pushing Daisies’ actress thinks of their relationship as if it were a marriage.

And she also admitted that she can’t really look back and go, ‘what if?’, but she thinks there is something to say, she does. Because no matter how difficult things get, well, sorry, but the shock was given by her was that they’re married to each other.
